On Day 1 of the Canadian Hydrogen Convention strategic conference, The Hydrogen Centre of Excellence is announcing the proponents of the Hydrogen Competition 2. If you weren't able to catch the announcement in person, we'll be airing the recorded session here. 

10am - Hydrogen Centre of Excellence hydrogen competition update

This session will give updates on Alberta Innovates (AI) Advancing Hydrogen – Competition 2 which supports early-stage innovations in hydrogen.

The Global Hydrogen Case Competition is tasking post-secondary students from across the world to make a global impact on our net-zero future with hydrogen as the solution. Future leaders will demonstrate their case-solving skills in front of the world’s leaders in hydrogen and clean technology in the competition finals during the Canadian Hydrogen Convention.

We’ll be announcing the winning team–and awarding the $10,000 CAD grand prize–at the 2024 Canadian Hydrogen Convention Awards Gala. More information can be found HERE.

3pm - Plug and Play Alberta's Global Hydrogen Pitch Competition

The Global Hydrogen Pitch Competition is a pitch event run in collaboration with Plug and Play Alberta, Edmonton Unlimited, and Edmonton Global. The pitch competition will feature four winners from our global hydrogen search to pitch in front of an esteemed panel of judges. The judges will then choose the winner of the competition and make a live announcement.
