Introducing the Hydrogen Mobility Champions Council
The Hydrogen Mobility Champions Council is a panel of industry leaders working together to accelerate the deployment of vehicles, infrastructure, and supportive programming to drive the 5,000 Hydrogen Vehicle Challenge forward. The Council is chaired by Edmonton Global, and members include:

$57 million in projects announced at the 2024 Canadian Hydrogen Convention
Premier Danielle Smith announced $57 million in funding for 28 hydrogen projects in Alberta. This includes $1.7 million for Edmonton International Airport to explore hydrogen for aviation and $1.9 million for retrofitting natural gas pipelines for hydrogen.
Velocity Truck Centres unveils Alberta's first hydrogen/CNG service bay
Velocity Truck Centres announced the grand opening of its state-of-the-art Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Hydrogen Service Bay at its South Edmonton service location. This facility supports the 5,000 Hydrogen Vehicle Challenge, aiming to have 5,000 hydrogen or dual-fuel vehicles on the road in Western Canada within five years.
Air Products to create a "hydrogen highway" in Alberta
Air Products announced their plans to construct a network of commercial hydrogen fueling stations between Edmonton and Calgary. This will help accelerate hydrogen adoption across Alberta.
